Parents Night Out! Schoolhouse (K-3) and ASAP (4-8) are offering a Parents Night Out this Friday, February 10th from 5:00-9:30pm. Kids can enjoy fun, games, and dinner while parents enjoy a night out! Cost is $15/child and $10 for siblings. RSVP by Wednesday; registration forms are at both offices. Flower Sale! Valentine's Day is just around the corner! It's time to place your flower orders. The flowers are carnations, cost $1.00 each, and will have a card attached with the senders name. They will be delivered to classrooms and offices on Tuesday, February 14th. Now's your chance to show your friends how much you appreciate them! Orders can be dropped off in either office or room 8 to place your orders. Orders will be accepted now through Friday, February 10th. Thank you!
Pennies for Patients: In only one week we raised $749.54!!! Top Pennies classes so far are Mr. Terrell, Ms. Nelson, and Mrs. Swanson; all over $100 in their home room classes! Come on Primary and Intermediate, dig under the couch cushions and get in all that spare change! Keep the money coming! It’s not over until February 24th.
Community Service: The year is half over – community service hours are due by May 7th. Remember if you do not do the hours required, 7th grade no end-of-year field trip, and 8th grade no end-of-year field trip and graduation dance. See Fran for amount of hours you still need.
Moonlight Gala: Buy your tickets now for the Forestville Education Foundation Moonlight Gala on Saturday, March 3rd. Tickets are $40, which include food and wine glass. Wine and soft drinks available for purchase, plus music and the fabulous auctions! Go to website of www.forestvillefoundation.org for tickets and information. Contact Brigitte DeLeon at bdeleon.ahs@wscuhsd.k12.ca.us about donations. Donation forms are due February 18th; with item pickup February 24th.
Movie Night @ El Molino: El Molino is hosting a movie night and carnival on Wednesday, February 15th. Carnival opens at 6 and the movie, ‘Despicable Me’, starts at 7:30. Admission is $5.
Visitor/Parent Volunteer Badges: All parent volunteers or visitors must check in at either office for badges.
Student Safety: There is a “Zero Tolerance” policy for any teasing, bullying or harassing. If anyone feels unsafe, we want to know about it by reporting to any staff member, by calling the school at
887-2279, or by leaving a note in a Suggestion Box at either office.
