About Forestville Union School District
Welcome to the friendly and nurturing environment of Forestville Union School District - two schools with an outstanding reputation for their academic program, extracurricular sports program, and fine arts, drama, and music program at all grade levels. All Forestville Kindergarteners are offered full day sessions: 8:30 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.
A Home Schooling Kindergarten program of up to five days per week with a shorter day is available through our Kindergarten Independent Study School Program (KISS). Interdistrict Transfers: We are accepting applications for Interdistrict transfer students at Kindergarten through fifth grades and for grades K-8 for the Home School Program. (Call 887-9767 for information). We have a wonderful program with high expectations, rigorous curriculum, and high achievement. There is also a school run after school activities program (ASAP) for students in grades 4-8, available five days a week, 2:50pm to 6:00pm (Tuesdays 2:00pm to 6:00pm)
All students (including Home School students) are invited to participate in all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including interscholastic sports (6-8), instrumental music (5-8), the school's annual drama/musical production (5-8), History Day, student talent show, gifted and talented education (7-8), geography and spelling bees (4-8), all dances and teen fun nights (7-8), etc.
School-sponsored, on-site day care is available at Schoolhouse Day Care (Preschool thru 3rd grade) both before (7:30 - 8:00 am) and after school (2:50-6:00pm.)
