As we enter a period of anticipated storms, I would like to remind everyone to stay tuned to radio stations KSRO, 1350 AM and/or KZST, 100.1 FM and Television Station KFTY, for any news about floods or school closures. If we must close school because of flooding, dangerous driving conditions, or loss of electrical power, we will communicate that information to County Superintendent of Schools, Carl Wong/Steven Herrington, who will officially contact radio stations KSRO and KZST and Television Station KFTY to authorize the broadcast of any messages concerning Forestville School. During stormy weather, the media will start broadcasting school information at 5:30 A. M. on school mornings. The school will send a One-Call notification to parents/guardians in the event of school closure. If you lose electrical power during a storm, you will need a battery operated radio in your home to receive school information so please keep a radio and extra batteries handy.
